Ayahuasca is the Quechua name to refer to both the liquid resulting from the slow decoction of an Amazonian vine called Banisteriopsis caapi, and the vine itself, which contains the compounds Harmine, Harmaline and Tetrahydroharmine.
This experience starts by picking you up from your hotel at 5:30 a.m. on our private transport. We will drive through mountains and valleys for two hours and a half to get to Acjanco Pass (3495 m / 11.482 ft), from here we will start to go down passing through the cloud forest where we can look for different animals, such as the cock of the rock, toucans, and monkeys.
In the afternoon, we will get to the lodge to embark on our previous Ayahuasca retreat.
PRE-AYAHUASCA CEREMONY
• We meet with our shaman to know how she is going to carry out the ceremony
• You need to be prepared, that’s why you will have a guided meditation to cleanse yourself of all bad thoughts and be focused on your purpose.
1st AYAHUASCA CEREMONY
We start our ceremony at 8:00 p.m; you have to keep in mind that all beings are different so probably the effects start in some of us 20 minutes after drinking the ayahuasca or in others an hour later.
Our shaman uses the icaros (songs) to control your energy and make the mother Ayahuasca works better in you.
The ceremony takes us around 3 or 4 hours, passing the hours our participant can go to sleep in their respective rooms.
After our breakfast, we will perform a ceremony to interpret the visions and symbolism obtained during the ceremony. Based on her wisdom and experience, our shaman will interpret in a spiritual and shamanic way what the Ayahuasca mother wanted to reveal to you. (this will take all the morning).
Then, we have the afternoon to enjoy the river which is near our lodge. Going back to our lodge we’ll have time to rest and then start with our purge ceremony (it helps to clean all the parasites and it keep you prepared for the next ceremony of Ayahuasca).
After our breakfast, we will perform a ceremony to interpret the visions and symbolism obtained during the ceremony. Based on her wisdom and experience, our shaman will interpret in a spiritual and shamanic way what the Ayahuasca mother wanted to reveal to you.
Post-interpretation’s vision, we carried out a flowering bath ceremony to eliminate the negative that invades a person, and to be clean of frequencies and negative energy.
In the afternoon, we will board our private van to get to “Dos Loritos” wildlife rescue center, we will be able to appreciate: macaws, monkeys, turtles, tapirs, wild pigs, and many other species.
This night will be our second ceremony of Ayahuasca and the process will be the same.
Note: The Ayahuasca always has something new to show you in every ceremony you take it.
We’ll take the morning to interpret our vision during the ceremony we did.
Post-interpretation’s vision, we carried out a flowering bath ceremony to eliminate the negative things that invade you, and to be clean of frequencies and negative energy.
At night, we start our last ceremony of the Mother Ayahuasca.
We’ll take the morning to interpret the visions we got last night.
Then, we can go to the river to relax the body, spending some time over there, we will return to our place to take our belongings to go towards Cusco arriving at 17:00 hours.
