Amazing Experience!- Don’t hesitate to book!
10/10. This by far has been one of the best tours I’ve been on (and I travel frequently). From the beginning to the end, everything was organized so smoothly and the experiences were incredible. I did the 3 day Manu Tour. I had a similar Manu National Park tour booked with a different company and they cancelled on me two nights before the trip. I reached out to several other companies to try to find last minute booking. Unfortunately, because I was a solo traveler, I was met with a lot of “unfortunately we can’t accommodate you.” Unique Amazon Perú got back to me very quickly. They were able to add me on to a tour for the dates I was looking for last minute and was even able to meet up the night before to give me the full briefing of the tour and what to expect. The transportation was smooth and even though it’s a long drive, they broke it up with bathroom stops, lunch breaks, and walks through the Amazon to break up the time. The time flew by because of how amazing the views and wildlife were. The guides were all very knowledgeable and frequently pulled over and spotted wild life you wouldn’t have been able to notice yourself. Throughout the tour I saw several species of monkeys, birds, fish, snakes, insects, and I even saw a caiman and some capybaras. The guides all cared for and respected the land and the animals and you can tell they were very passionate about nature. The lodge was great and all of the meals provided were delicious and different every day. There were a few people in the group, myself included, who had dietary restrictions (for example no pork, or some were vegan) and they were able to accommodate everyone with great and healthy meals. There was plenty of water, coffee and tea provided. The lodge even had some very friendly and cute pet birds. I would recommend bringing sandals, a flash light and a portable charger because the lodge operates off solar panels so at night there might not be electricity in the rooms, but I thought it was nice that it is sustainable. I’d also recommend bringing toilet paper for some of the bathroom stops along the way and some cash in soles to tip the guides and such. Overall this was a very incredible experience filled with nature walks, hikes, boat rides, a night walk through the Amazon and plenty of wildlife viewing. The tour was very well organized from start to finish and all of the guides were professional, knowledgeable and amazing. My only regret is not booking the longer tour because I wish I could have stayed even longer. I cannot wait to return and book another trip with Unique Amazon Perú. It was the highlight of my entire South American trip. Our guide Symond was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and great at spotting wildlife in the Amazon. He made sure we were well taken care of at all times. Our driver Raúl was also excellent, driving very well from the start along the jungle roads, so we always felt safe. Amazing Amazon experience! We had a great time exploring the Amazon on a trip with my friend and our guide Edwin. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the jungle. We saw monkeys, birds, insects, and many other animals, and the telescope helped us get some great close-up views. We also visited a hummingbird garden and a wildlife rescue center, which were both incredible experiences. The food was delicious and fresh. Amazing 4-Day Manu National Park Tour
We had an incredible experience. The food was delicious, with different meals every day, and everything was very well organized. The small group size created a friendly and personal atmosphere, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We felt safe and well taken care of throughout the tour, and the whole trip was both fun and memorable. Edwin was fantastic. His passion and enthusiasm for the Amazon were evident throughout the tour, and his ability to spot wildlife was truly impressive. Thanks to him, we saw many birds, different species of monkeys, capybaras, and much more. He always made an effort to stop at interesting spots along the way, making sure we got the most out of the experience. EL MEJOR TOUR
Mi amiga y yo hicimos el tour de 3 días en el Parque Nacional del Manu y fue una experiencia realmente inolvidable. Nuestro guía, Symond, fue excelente: gracias a su conocimiento y dedicación pudimos observar una gran variedad de animales y aves, y siempre se tomó el tiempo de explicarnos todo con mucha claridad. El albergue cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estadía cómoda en la selva, y la comida preparada por Modesto fue deliciosa, variada y muy bien presentada. Unreal experience with incredibly talented individuals
Don't often leave reviews but these guys are 100% deserving of the praise they get. We had Ciro as a guide who did an unbelievable job of spotting wildlife, he's someone you can tell just genuinely loves animals and finding them. Great guide willing to go above and beyond. Amazing experience
We had a very good experience with Unique Amazonas and had 4 incredible days of a trip. Our contact person at the company was very professional and polite, he even made the time to meet up with us and tell us about the trip when we had several questions. Very good communication from the beginning and throughout. Since it was low season they fixed us a combined tour with people who booked via other companies which worked really well. Our contact person at Unique Amazonas made sure that they knew about dietary restrictions (which was met at all meals) and made sure we had the things included according to our itinerary. In the jungle we saw so many animals; hummingbirds, capybaras, monkeys, snakes, spiders, parrots, other birds… The lodge we stayed in was above our expectations, but you have to be ready for the fact that it is in a jungle. To sum it up, 10/10 experience - would recommend everyone to do it and I would do it again if I got the chance. Tour en Puerto Maldonado
Fuimos un grupo de amigas y decidimos tomar el tour con esta agencia. Normalmente no solemos viajar mucho, pero en esta ocasión elegimos Puerto Maldonado y fue una experiencia increíble. En solo 2 días pudimos ver muchísima vida silvestre, disfrutamos de la naturaleza y además la comida estuvo deliciosa. Nuestro guía Symond hizo que todo fuera aún mejor con sus conocimientos y buena onda. A Truly Transformative and Authentic Ayahuasca Retreat
My wife and I recently went on the ayahuasca retreat in the jungle, and the experience was nothing short of transformative for us both. Everything about it felt completely authentic and secure, which gave us so much peace of mind. The coordination, communication, and logistics were seamless, and the food provided was excellent. The shaman was absolutely amazing, guiding the ceremonies with such presence and wisdom. Edwin, our guide, was also fantastic. He supported us throughout the retreat and took us to some incredible places afterward. On the way back to Cusco we visited an animal sanctuary, which was such a special experience. It was incredible to see so many different animals up close. We also enjoyed a short boat ride along the river, which was the perfect and peaceful way to reflect on our journey. To top it all off we explored ancient pre-Inca ruins nestled in the mountains, offering breathtaking views that we would not have discovered on our own. This retreat was the perfect combination of healing, cultural immersion, and adventure. I could not recommend it more highly. We took a two-day tour to the Amazon from Cusco, and it was truly amazing! We saw and experienced so much. Edwin, the tour guide, is a true expert in his field; he knows a great deal about the animals and how to spot them. He’s also happy to answer any other questions you might have. As two young women, we felt completely at ease with Edwin and Raoul. They pay attention to every detail and are incredibly caring!
And Raoul, the driver, makes the best pisco sours!!

We had the 4-day Manu experience and our trip was exceptional!
Simon (our guide) has an extraordinary ability of hearing and seeing birds, caimans, monkeys and other animals extremely far away and well camouflaged. He would then stop, set up the telescope, show us the latest marvel spotted and even take photos for us through the telescope. Of course, we also saw many birds and animals (including hummingbirds) close up as well.
Simon is knowledgeable and invested, sharing stories and information about the place, the jungle, the culture and people, and all the flora and fauna we saw.
The tours we did were a very good and manageable mix of boat trips, walking in the jungle on flat routes, walking up and down on steeper routes to see ancient trees and relaxing at the lodge. The boat trips are a particularly nice way to start and end every outing.
The lodge we had (Top Manu Avatar Lodge) is top class and quite rare in the area. New, en-suite, very clean, and well-maintained. The food was also very very good (three meals per day) with a variety of delicious local dishes.
The pick-up early morning in Cusco was super on time, and on the way we stopped multiple times to enjoy the scenery, birdwatch and walk. The road trip itself is not just pick-up - drop-off, but a part of the adventure.

We had an amazing experience in the Amazon jungle with Symond! We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every part of the experience. Symond was incredibly knowledgeable and did a fantastic job showing us so many different animals, including caimans, parrots, monkeys, and even capybaras!

I did the 3 day/2 night trip to Manu and it was absolutely amazing! We saw parrots, monkeys, so many butterflies, a caiman, and so much other beautiful nature! Our tour guide, Edwin, was very knowledgeable about the amazon, and tailored the trip to my group's specific interests. The places we stayed in were very scenic and comfortable. I honestly usually don't leave such long reviews, but this experience deserved me taking the time to do so. My wife and I did the 4-day Manu tour. The trip was very well organized from start to finish. We were picked up from our hotel in Cusco around 5:30 AM and then we were on our way. The van was very spacious and comfortable. It was a small group so we were able to put both our extra bags in the back of the van to take with us, but we were told they have luggage storage available if needed which is nice. We stopped a few times on the way for breakfast, bathroom breaks, and then later on for lunch. Our guide Symond was fantastic and very friendly. He was incredibly knowledgeable about nature and wildlife. Along the way to the lodge we saw so many different animals and had plenty of time for pictures and videos. The guide was able to take my phone and capture videos and pictures through the telescope which I thought was amazing.

The entire team was fantastic. Our driver, the chef and the boat captains were all so friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our trip unforgettable. There wasn't a moment that went by where we didn't have fun. There were plenty of activities planned and each day was structured so well. The guide also communicated every step of the plans very well so we always felt informed and he always made sure we felt safe.

We hebben een erg leuke ervaring gehad in Manu. Dankzij Edwin, Raoul en Santos hebben we vier top dagen gehad. De verblijven waren verbazingwekkend luxe en het eten was heerlijk!! Edwin kon ons veel vertellen over de natuur en verschillende dieren die hij spotte, hij was erg gepassioneerd erover. Ik zou de tour absoluut aanraden, vooral voor mensen voor wie het eerste keer is dat ze naar de jungle gaan.
