Reservation Process

  1. Essential Information: When making your reservation, we will need the following details:
    • Full name
    • Nationality
    • Passport number
    • Date of birth
    • Gender
    • Dietary needs
  2. Book with confidence: To secure your adventure, a deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required.
  3. Payment of the final balance: The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the tour departure date.

Cancellation Policy

At Unique Amazon Peru, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our travelers and our local partners, who reserve permits, transportation, accommodations, and guides in advance.

Tour Cancellations by the Traveler

  • More than 30 days before departure: Receive a refund of your tour payment, minus the non-refundable deposit and any costs already incurred for permits, entrance fees, train or flight tickets, hotel reservations, or other prepaid services.
  • 15–30 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price is refundable, excluding all non-refundable expenses.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund will be issued due to commitments made with our local suppliers and service providers.
  • No-shows or early departures: No refunds will be provided for missed tours, unused services, or early departures from the itinerary.

Changes to Your Reservation

Requests to change travel dates or tour services are subject to availability and may incur additional costs. Any price differences, permit fees, or supplier charges must be paid by the traveler.

Non-Refundable Services

The following items are generally non-refundable once confirmed:

  • National park entrance fees
  • Train, bus, or flight tickets
  • Hotel reservations
  • Special permits
  • Travel insurance
  • Bank transaction or payment processing fees

Tour Cancellations by Unique Amazon Peru

In the unlikely event that we must cancel a tour due to extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will offer one of the following options:

  • Reschedule your tour to a future available date.
  • Receive a refund for any refundable services not already provided.

Unique Amazon Peru is not responsible for additional expenses such as international flights, hotel accommodations, travel insurance, or other personal travel arrangements.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, delays, lost baggage, and evacuation expenses.
