Together with Local Communities

Sharing Moments, Stories, and Traditions

Unfortunately, large amounts of funding intended to support native communities do not always reach the people they are meant to benefit. As a result, many local communities continue to face daily challenges, despite the resources that in theory are meant to support them.

We have been developing small initiatives together with native communities in Manu National Park. One of these projects focuses on the acquisition of a plot of land bordering the Huacaria native community, with the goal of helping protect the area from illegal logging and preventing unauthorized land appropriation.

As a local business in the Amazon, we know we cannot solve every problem, but we do everything within our reach to contribute in a positive way. At the same time, we encourage each of our current and future travelers to support local people wherever they go.

Beyond the luxury or experiences that a tour may offer, responsible and community-focused tourism can generate real benefits for the people who live in these regions.
