Day 1 – Madre de Dios River Adventure & Monkey Island Wildlife Tour
Enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Madre de Dios River and visit Monkey Island to see monkeys, sloths, and turtles. End the day with a night wildlife excursion to spot caimans, owls, and capybaras.
Day 2 – Sandoval Lake Exploration & Tambopata Rainforest Walks

Day 1 – Filadelfia Community Jungle Walk, Observation Tower & Night Wildlife Safari
Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, we’ll pick you up and transfer you to our office to finalize details. From there, a one-hour drive to Filadelfia Community followed by a short boat ride brings you to the lodge.
After lunch, enjoy a guided walk through the rainforest, discovering medicinal plants and giant trees like Brazil nut and tonka bean. From the 45-meter birdwatching tower, spot monkeys, toucans, parrots, macaws, and more, while enjoying a stunning jungle sunset.
Day 2 – Yacumama Lake Wildlife & Piranha Fishing Experience
At dawn, visit the Chuncho clay lick, witnessing flocks of macaws and parrots feeding in their natural habitat—a true Amazon spectacle.
In the afternoon, head to Yacumama Lake, famous for its sunsets and abundant wildlife. Navigate the lake by rowboat for a piranha fishing experience, capturing photos before releasing them back to preserve the ecosystem. Spot macaws, parrots, and possibly black caimans or river otters.
Day 3 – , Rainforest Exploration & Amazon Night Safari
Early morning, explore Sandoval Lake inside the Tambopata National Reserve. Paddle across the lake to see giant otters, black caimans, herons, turtles, monkeys, and colorful macaws.
In the afternoon, enjoy guided rainforest walks around the lodge, spotting toucans, macaws, small mammals, and medicinal plants. At night, a nocturnal Amazon safari introduces you to sloths, night monkeys, opossums, reptiles, and other fascinating wildlife.
Day 4 – Hanging Bridges Rainforest Walk & Puerto Maldonado Departure
After breakfast, walk along trails leading to towering trees over 700 years old and explore the Amazon canopy via hanging bridges, observing hummingbirds, woodpeckers, monkeys, lizards, and orchids.
Finally, return to Puerto Maldonado to collect your luggage and transfer to the airport or bus station for your onward journey.
