The center operates as a non-profit organization.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mission_Rehabilitate_and_Protect_Wildlife\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>Mission: Rehabilitate and Protect Wildlife<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The mission of the Rescue Center is to ensure the well-being of wild animals affected by wildlife trafficking or habitat destruction. The center provides medical care, food, and a natural environment for <strong>animals to readjust to wild life<\/strong>. When possible, animals live freely without cages, allowing them to acclimate before being reintroduced into protected areas like <strong>Manu National Park<\/strong>. Some of these animals, which cannot be released due to their conditions, are friendly and allow interaction with visitors. Other animals, especially younger ones, require care until they can fend for themselves.
